In February 2008 Enikon signed contracts with Barrick Gold, the world’s leading gold producer (through its company Pangea Minerals) for design, supply and installation of field erected tanks and for the SMP package on the Buzwagi Gold Mine project in Tanzania.

This contract is one of the biggest in Enikon’s history. The project was executed according to an exacting time schedule, in line with the highest quality standards and to the client’s utmost satisfaction.

In the period from February 2008 till April 2009 Enikon designed, delivered and installed more than 19,000 m of piping, 850 t of tanks, 650 t of mechanical equipment / platework and 1,000 t of steel structure.
